《孔学堂》约稿函

《孔学堂》(中国思想文化评论)以“立足当代弘扬中华文化,面向世界对话多元文明”为办刊宗旨,是一份中英双语对译弘扬、传播中华优秀文化的学术杂志。

2014年以来,杜维明、成中英、牟钟鉴、郭齐勇、吴光、张立文、俞荣根、周桂细、宋志明、黄俊杰、冯达文等海内外硕儒,顾彬、安乐哲等著名汉学家,纷纷欣然为《孔学堂》杂志命笔赐稿。编辑部与来自中国外文局、北京外国语大学、中央编译局、中译出版社等翻译、研究机构的专家合作翻译,并聘请外籍专家审议英文稿件,组成杂志强大的英文编译团队。

现诚向海内外广大哲学社会科学界专家、学者约稿,赐中文稿、英文稿皆可,特别期望同赐中、英双语文稿,本刊将奉上双份稿酬。稿件一经审定采用,即通知作者,出版后赠当期杂志两册,并支付相应稿酬。2016年起,本刊实行“优稿优酬”和“追加稿酬”制度,凡在《孔学堂》杂志刊登的论文被《新华文摘》、中国人民大学《复印报刊资料》、《中国社会科学文摘》等刊物全文转载或者摘登3000字以上,追加优厚稿费,被转载的作者请及时与本刊编辑部联系。

一、重点选题

主要刊登以儒学为核心的中华优秀传统文化的学术新作。2020年的重点选题:中华优秀传统文化的当代价值研究、儒学研究、中国传统生态哲学思想、出土文献与中国哲学研究、海外汉学研究等。

二、文稿要求

来稿要求坚持正确的政治导向,文章力求严谨科学,资料出处正确可靠,全文字数以7000-13000字为宜,必须包括:文题、摘要、关键词、作者简介、正文、注释。

(一)摘要和关键词:文章正文前必须有中文摘要、关键词等。中文摘要字数200—300字为宜,关键词可选3—5个。

(二)作者简介:位于关键词之下,注明作者姓名、单位全称、职务、职称、学位,所在省市区及城市、邮政编码。

(三)注释及参考文献:采用页下注(脚注) ,在文中标出序号的位置(右上角标①、②、③…… )。具体格式如下:

专著:作者:书名,出版地:出版者,出版年,起止页。

期刊:作者:题名,刊名出版年份,卷号(期号):起止页。

论文集:作者:题名,载主编:论文集名,出版地:出版者,出版年,起止页。

学位论文:作者:题名〔学位论文〕,保存地点:保存单位,年份。

报纸:作者:文题,报纸名年月日(版次)。

三、其他要求

(一)本刊只接收电子邮件的方式投稿;请勿一稿多投,若三个月内未接到用稿通知请自行处理,恕不退稿;作者在稿件上要注明联系地址、邮政编码、联系电话(手机)、电子邮箱。

(二)本刊对所有来稿进行学术不端检测,请作者自觉遵守学术规范;对于所有在本刊发表的稿件,在不影响作者观点的前提下,编辑人员有权作必要的文字删改。不同意删改者,请注明。

(三)本刊将入编中国知网等期刊网, 《新华文摘》等刊物可直接转载本刊文章,不同意收录或转载者,请注明。作者著作权使用费和本刊稿费一次性给付。

Invitation for Manuscript Submission

Confucian Academy (Chinese Thought and Culture Review) Officially launched in August 2014, the journal Confucian Academy (Chinese Thought and Culture Review) [ISSN 2095–8536, CN 52–5035/C] is a leading Chinese–English bilingual scholarly journal dedicated to traditional Chinese thought and culture in prompting conversations among world civilizations.

Confucian Academy cordially invites the submission of manuscripts for consideration for the next issue. Authors may submit manuscripts in Chinese or English while Chinese–English bilingual manuscripts are strongly preferred, in which case authors will receive a double payment upon publication. The corresponding author of an accepted manuscript will be notified and receive credit for payment. Confucian Academy additionally provides the corresponding author with two complimentary copies of the print issue in which the article appears.

1. Main Sections

Academic Forum, Traditional Chinese Philosophy, Yangming Culture, Masters of Chinese Studies, Horizon of Sinology, and Translations of Chinese Thought and Culture

2. Manuscript Format and Style

The papers should meet the general criteria of significance and academic merits with reliable reference. Chinese manuscripts should generally be 7,000 to 12,000 words in length; English manuscripts no more than 7,000 words. Title, abstract, keywords, biographical notes, text, and references are required in each manuscript.

1) Abstract and Keywords

Submissions must include an abstract of up to 200 words and three to six keywords or phrases for indexing purposes.

2) Biographical Notes, Affiliations, and Full Contact Details

All manuscripts are to be supplied with 200-word biographical notes, academic affiliations, and full contact information for all authors including e-mail, mailing address, and telephone numbers.

3) References and Footnotes

All references are included as footnotes. Manuscripts should indicate footnotes in text by a superscript number starting with “1” and number them consecutively throughout the entire manuscript. Detailed requirements are as follows:

Book: Author(s), Title of book, Edition number (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication), Page(s).

Chapter in Book: Author(s), “Title of chapter,” in ch. xx of Title of book (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of Publication), Inclusive pages.

Book in Series: Author(s), Title of book, in Title of book series, Editor(s) (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication), Page(s).

Article in Journal: Author(s), “Title of article,” Name of the journal Volume number, Issue number (Year of publication): Inclusive pages.

Translation: Translator(s), trans., Title of book (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication).

Non-English Publication with Title Translation: Author(s), Original title of book [Title translation] (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication), Inclusive pages.

Electronic/online Sources: Author(s), Title of book, Web sites, Access time.

3. Additional Requirements

1) Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as Word documents to the editor at . Submissions must not have been previously published nor be under consideration by another publication. Time from submission to publication decision averages three months.

2) All accepted manuscripts are subject to editorial revisions and copyediting for clarity, punctuation, grammar, syntax, and conformity to journal style. The authors bear sole responsibility for all statements made in the manuscript.

3) Articles in Confucian Academy will be included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database and will be reprinted by Replicated Journals of the Information Center for Social Sciences, Renmin University of China. Please indicate if you disagree.
